Intro

The Puntland Non-Communicable Diseases Alliance (PNCDA) is a collaborative network that unites government, civil society, and community actors to address the growing threat of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) across Puntland. We work to prevent and control diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cancer, and mental health conditions through advocacy, awareness, research, and partnerships. Focus Areas: • Cardiovascular Diseases • Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders • Cancer and Early Detection • Mental Health and Well-being • Chronic Respiratory Diseases

Our Objectives

Advocate for strong policies and investment in NCD and mental health care. Build capacity of healthcare providers and community health workers. Strengthen NCD surveillance, data collection, and research. Raise awareness through campaigns and community education. Promote coordination among civil society, government, and international partners. Support patient networks and self-care initiatives.
